Distinctively DUBUQUE: A fun way for newcomers to experience Dubuque

Welcome! You've made the decision to move to the Greater Dubuque area. The movers are gone, the boxes are unpacked...well, at least most of them.

Now it's time to really make this new destination home.

Greater Dubuque Development, in partnership with Northeast Iowa Community College's Town Clock Center for Professional Development, has created an interactive, hands-on learning experience where you'll gain valuable knowledge about the community in a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Hosted by a variety of high-energy presenters with in-depth knowledge of the Greater Dubuque area, the Distinctively DUBUQUE program offers opportunities to

  • learn about Dubuque's arts and culture offerings, recreation spots, and vibrant nightlife
  • participate in networking activities with community leaders and residents
  • discover Dubuque traditions which make Dubuque distinct
  • gain exposure to available social activities within the community
  • establish new relationships with a network of peers
  • get a sneak-peek look at hot, up-and-coming projects in the Dubuque area
  • build awareness of the community's non-profit organizations, businesses, and educational system
Welcome
